Meet Lynn

Lynn Clouser was raised in the Missouri City, TX and is currently serving her second term as Missouri City’s Councilwoman At-Large, Position 2, elected in December 2020. Councilwoman Clouser serves as a member of the city’s Economic Development Committee, and is the Chair of the Small Business Advisory Committee that she is credited for creating during her first six months in office. She previously served on the city’s Finance & Services and Community Development Advisory Committees. Councilwoman Clouser consistently champions efforts for our police and fire personnel and public safety initiatives, our local veterans, senior citizens, autism awareness and acceptance, adult literacy, breast cancer awareness, the businesses community, and differently abled populations. Although her resume is long, she likes to sum it up in two words ‘Servant Leader’. 
 
Lynn has a true passion for serving others. She is the Community Relations Manager for a medical organization and represents  the entire state of Texas, bringing medical services to adults with Intellectual disabilities. She is the proud recipient of the following awards and distinctions: 2025 Honorary Chair of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Xi Kappa Lamba Scholarship Gala, 2024 SurviveHer Breast Cancer Foundation Champion Recipient, 2021 President’s Lifetime Achievement Award, 2022 D-Mars Top 30 Influential Women of Houston, 2022 Perfect Connections Evolution of Autism Outstanding Autism Advocate Award Honoree and more. 
 
Lynn is the mother to two children: Lauryn, a 9th grader and Marshall, a Sophomore at Eastern Michigan University who is thriving on the autism spectrum. A graduate of The High School for Health Professions, Missouri City Middle School, and E.A Jones Elementary. Lynn received her Bachelor’s Degree from Hampton University and has previously served on the Board of Directors for Hope for Three Autism Advocates, the Advisory Board for the FBISD Transition Services Committee, Edison Arts Foundation, Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated, and is a Lifetime Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

    Complete the 2025 Comprehensive Plan that reflects the ideas, vision, and growth of Missouri City.

    Champion initiatives that support our local businesses and attract new and innovative projects that will improve our community’s economic well-being and stimulate our sales tax base.

  • Emergency Preparedness

    Ensure that our staff is trained and prepared to implement our city’s emergency preparedness plan.

  • Putting Taxpayers First

    Lead with fiscal transparency ensuring homeowners have the lowest tax rate possible that aligns with our city’s goals for growth and sustainability.
